We've decided to take a short weekend trip coming up on February 23rd to Charleston.
It'll be a lite and cheap trip. We're going to stick to attractions in the general Charleston area that include a few sites we kept putting off in the past: Old Provost and Exchange Building, Powder Magazine, and Calhoun Mansion. We've been meaning to visit these places, but have never gotten around to it. We're also going to check out a market near Boone Hall Plantation.
We'll probably make return trips to Sullivan's restaurant on Sullivan's Island, Poogan's Porch, and Just Fresh. I'm looking forward to one nice seafood dinner.
We're already anticipating a 4.5 day return to Charleston in Late May, but I felt the need to get away for a weekend to relax. The May trip will feature a much broader array of attractions.
