Serves a wide variety of meat and seafood, typical to other franchise family restaurants. The location in Charleston on the Ashley River features a very large dining room in an old factory building. Huge windows with views of the Ashley River and the peninsula.
I don't recall specifically what I ate, but I believe it was a broiled or fried fish. I do remember that the dinner salad was very fresh and similar to one I have eaten at the Rafferty's chain. The food in general is very similar to what you would find a other family oriented restaurants like Chillies, Bennigans, or Applebees. The view of the Ashley River is what really sets this restaurant apart. The rear of the restaurant looks directly upon the Ashley river, where you can watch various boats and yachts pass.
I chose the Prime Rib with au jus for my dinner. The serving was large, and the meat tender and moist. Although the meat was nice, there was nothing to make it stand out. I have had better. The House salad served with the meal was fresh and filled with flavorful ingredients, and the creamed spinach I had as a side was very good. We had a nice view up the Ashley River. I give it a score of eight just for the view.
