We have attended two different times. The first year we purchased a package of tours. It was a fast moving couple of days! We saw so many homes in so many places in and around the historic district. It was a great way to sample a great variety of homes.
We scaled back the second year and just purchased one evening. It was a much more leisurely stroll.
If you want to really see the inside of the homes of Charleston, this is the only real way.
