Metto's is located on Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant. The small building is draped over with big shade trees and features a nice outdoor seating area for reading or relaxing with a drink. Plenty of parking in the rear.
They offer sandwiches, muffins, quiche and all the various of coffee and non-coffee based drinks.
There is also a drive through also.
I visit Metto all the time during our trips. The muffins are to die for! During strawberry season, you must try the strawberries and cream muffin. The blueberry is equally awesome, along with the espresso bran muffin. The pecan sticky bun will drive your taste buds wild.
I have wanted to visit this coffee shop since seeing it's cozy little spot just past Shem Creek. It has a nice big deck on the front facing Coleman, built around a big shade tree. I had a green tea freeze that was very good, almost better than the green tea frap at Starbucks! I would stop in again for a refreshing cold drink, for sure! There was also a selection of small sandwiches, fruits, and sweets. Very friendly service.
